Important notice regarding Vanguard Fire and Casualty Company, in Liquidation:
- Vanguard Fire and Casualty Company (Vanguard) was ordered liquidated by the Second Judicial Court in Leon County, Florida effective 12:01 a.m. on March 26, 2007. No changes are allowed that amend coverage on or after March 26, 2007.
- No changes are allowed to amend coverage on or after March 26, 2007. Any submitted requests to amend policy coverage on a Vanguard policy effective after the liquidation date cannot be accepted. Policy coverage will remain as effective on March 26, 2007 until the earlier of the policy’s normal expiration date or the court ordered cancellation date of 12:01 a.m. on April 25, 2007.
- Please note: your client will be offered new coverage with either Royal Palm Insurance Company or Security First Insurance Company. If accepted, the new coverage would be effective as of 12:01 a.m. on April 25, 2007, or upon the normal expiration of the Vanguard coverage, whichever occurs first. Please consult Royal Palm Insurance Company or Security First Insurance Company as to how you may increase or otherwise change your client’s coverage options.
